Cancellations may be made up until the closing date of the competition with no penalty. After the closing date, a veterinary or medical certificate (on official letterhead) is required and entry fees will be refunded (upon notification by 6:00 p.m. on the Friday preceding the competition date). Presentation of a veterinary or medical certificate, on official letterhead, for illness or injury must be made within 15 days after the competition in order to receive a refund. Cancellations made the day of the competition will forfeit the entries (please notify the secretary's desk if you are scratching). Glanbrook Cadora regrets that refunds cannot be issued for classes cancelled due to inclement weather conditions. If you are unable to compete for other reasons, entry fees cannot be refunded.
What do i need to show in 2018?
To show the Silver Levelat the Glanbrook Cadora Dressage Shows in 2018, you will need an EC Silver membership, a DC Silver membershipand your OEF membership. If you are an amateur, you must have the Amateur Status box marked on your EC card ($10). Your horse must have a 2018 EC Horse License. Passports are no longer used.. All of the above can be completed by filling out the EC Sport License Application for 2018 on the Equine Canada or OEF websites.
To show the Bronze Level at the Glanbrook Cadora Dressage Shows in 2018, you will need an EC Bronze Membership and your OE membership. All of the above can be completed by filling out the EC Sport License Application for 2018 on the EC website and completing the OE membership form . EC Bronze and OE memberships are also required for Western classes held within the Bronze show.
If you do not own the horse you are showing, the ownerof the horse must also have a current licence appropriate to the level of competition and a current OE membership.

CADORA: To be eligible for CADORA and CADORA-Ontario awards, you need to join CADORA. Membership includes Provincial and National CADORA memberships. Members receive an Omnibus, membership card, CADORA Ink newsletters and the ability to participate in CADORA awards and educational programs. Please see the CADORA Inc. and CADORA-Ontario websites for further information.
Dressage Canada: Full members receive newsletters and the "Competition" booklet. For 2015, scores from Silver dressage competitions will be eligible for DC Achievement Awards as well as the EIGHT program. Please see the Dressage Canada website for more information. Silver level competitors must have a Dressage Canada membership starting in 2018.
WSDAC: For Western dressage riders there are many benefits to joining Western Style Dressage Association of Canada including multiple points programs for showing and awards. See the Association website for further information.
What is the Glanbrook Awards program?
Glanbrook has Rider/Horse of the Year awards , a Memorial Trophy, and a Volunteer of the Year Award. In addition show volunteer staff are recognized and rewarded according to number of hours worked. For full details, including qualifying information - please see the Prize List. Rider/Horse and the Memorial Trophy awards require Glanbrook membership which must be obtained by the first show of the season. Our volunteer awards do not require membership. For 2018 only the Memorial Trophy class will not be available due to our last show of the season being the Silver Championships.
